Sonoma Valley

I will try to keep gorgeous landscape pictures to a minimum, focusing
instead on self involved pictures of Dave and I.

I apologize for adding more uneccessary and, no doubt, unwanted shots
of beautiful Sonoma.

Baby grapes.

And we're back.

Honestly, how did people marvel at themselves pre-digital cameras?

And why do pregnant women always hold on
to their belly like it's about to fall down like
oversized pants?

Ledson Winery.

Dave enjoyed this trip very much. Here he dispenses legal adivice
to a client.

On the Way to Wine Country

Lots of wine sipping, sniffing and eyeballing to come. Sniffing and
eyebolling performed by preggers McGillicutty.

Elephant Seals

For some reason these elephant seals decided to colonize the beach at Piedras Blancas in 1990. They couldn't care less that people come by the bus loads to view them from only a few feet away. There's a reason. They have special, special protection.

Behind the sunglasses our eyes are coming out of our sockets.

Sunning both sides of their flippers. So cute.

So incredibly stinky. Smelly. Foul. Rancid. Rank. Reeking. Rotten.
Very special protection.

All they do is sun themselves, shovel sand on their blob bodies, and stink.

Morro Bay Rock. Only included, albeit out of focus, because it looks
like a big dessert.

These male ducks, plus at least two other ones, romanced a girl duck
quite ferociously outside our restaurant in San Luis Obispo. It was
practically assault. She ran for it. But 5 minutes later was back for more
and left with the most handsome drake*.

Anniversary in Carmel By the Sea

We watched the sun come up, except we couldn't see it on account
of it being so cloudy.

After Dinner

Dave matched cake.

And groom.

Jaren, take note of tummy. Ticket out of Africa?
Pousser!
Photographed to scale.

Jaren, I love you. You make me feel tall.
