Dinner Time

John is just a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. It's impossile for him
not to enjoy himself.

Special.

Less special. But somehow much nicer.

The next wedding. Don’t worry kids, we’ll hit people up for cash to
include in your envelope.

Ok, ok, we’ll write you check. Jeez.

Try as I might, and there were several tries, I could not
get a picture of Liesel’s face.
But that’s ok because her dress was also pretty.

Doe, a dear, a female dear.

Cocktail Hour

The boys may be in the picture but this one's all about the dresses.

What is it about weddings that inspires so much romance?

So much philosophy.

Such inspiration.

It’s a beautiful view, but it’s like there’s something missing in these pictures.

Oh, there it is.

The Dineen family.
I guess.

Liesel and Olivier's Wedding Ceremony

This weekend was all about several dresses and lovely couples.

Congratulations fellas. Your baby is beeeeaaauutiful.

Now, from Columbus and on to the ceremony.

Olivier’s sister, Severine, Liesel’s college friend, and Bryna were bridesmaids.

Holy matrimony.

Oliver’s mother, who by the way made this union happen since Olivier, as everybody knows, can’t get his own women, read something in French.

Husband and wife.

Unholy union.

Baby in a Bar

Babies are chick magnets. But you also have to talk to the chicks
that are magneted. Not just carry a baby and look weird.

A fruit salad for the fruit salad.

Mia got drinks for everybody. She herself prefers to travel BYOB*

Since this was a trip for the entire family, we got ice cream
and shakes afterwards.

*Bring Your Own Boob.

Sidd and Carrie Try Parenting

They're thinking, oh this is easy. We can handle a tiny person like that.

Then Mia got hungry. A bottle was brought in.

They were convinced it was a two man job.

Until they realized it was a three man job.

Post Baby Shower

After the shower, we had dinner once the boys returned from
drinking and arguing at an arcade. We were all having lots of fun.

Except Lance. No matter what he did, no one would look at him.

The next day we used some of the new products to practice.
After Bad Parenting I & Bad Parenting II, how could we not?
Anna Björg, mother of 3, displayed secret moves.

Baby Shower

So I'm a little behind with my pictures...

I thought I was going over to Liesel and Oliver's for a BBQ.

When we arrived, all the girls were there.

Including my cousin, Anna Björg, which Dave had secretly flown in from Iceland.
When he said he had a surprise it never occured to me this was it.
And a few days earlier I had lamented like a beaten down puppy, that it looked like
no one would be throwing me a shower.

I got many, many useful and cute things.

The most useful of which is the book "Baby Fix Me a Martini."

Mandy was in charge of handing me presents.
There were quite a few.

And only Laura could be trusted to manage the balloons. She did great.
